NI Co-hosted a Memorial Meeting for Elise Boulding
Approximately 25 people gathered at the Friends Meeting of Washington on Saturday, July 24 to remember the life of Elise Boulding, who passed away one month earlier. It was clear from the messages shared by those in attendance that Elise’s creativity and inspirational passion for building peace around the world will continue to influence many for generations to come. Here are links to her obituary in the Washington Post and New York Times.
The event was co-hosted by the Peace and Social Concerns Committee of Friends Meeting of Washington and Nonviolence International in Washington, DC.
