"A Homeland for All" rally in Sar, Bahrain
Bahrain has a long history of nonviolent resistance to oppressive government policies. Since the beginning of the Arab Spring in 2011, Bahrain has experienced a mounting death toll, hundreds of injuries, hundreds of arrests, and thousands fired from jobs since protests began, calling for an end to the discriminatory policies and the establishment of a democratic government. Saudi Arabian troops marched into the country to assist the Bahraini Royal Family in quelling the uprisings, but when the state of emergency was lifted on June 1, 2011, protests started up again. The Bahraini resistance has been overwhelmingly nonviolent despite enormous provocation and repression. There are many heroic stories of courage happening every day. Please provide humanitarian support these activists and their families.
يمتلك الشعب البحريني تاريخاً طويلاً من الصراع اللاعنفي لأساليب وأنظمة القمع الحكومية. وقد راح ضحية الأحداث الأخيرة في البحرين أكثر من 32 شخصاً ، فيما خلف الصراع مئات الجرحى والمعتقلين ، فيما تعرض الآلاف للفصل من أعمالهم نتيجة مشاركتهم في الاحتجاجات الأخيرة التي . بدأت في فبراير الماضي والتي دعت إلى المساواة بين المواطنين والمزيد من الإصلاحات السياسية والديمقراطية في البلاد.
. وقد قامت القوات السعودية بدعم العائلة الحاكمة في البحرين في قمع المتظاهرين ومواجهة الاحتجاجات الأخيرة بالقو.
غير أنه بمجرد رفع حالة السلامة الوطنية في الأول من يونيو الماضي، بدأت الاحتجاجات المنادية بالديمقراطية تجتاج الشوارع والقرى البحرينية من جديد. وعلى الرغم من قوة القمع الذي تعرض له المتظاهرون على يد القوات السعودية إلا أن المحتجين احتفظوا بسلميتهم ، مسجلين قصصاً مؤثرة من الشجاعة والبطولة في كل يوم.
هؤلاء النشطاء وعائلاتهم يحتاجون إلى الدعم والمؤازرة
Thousands of people in Bahrain have been badly affected by the recent events in the country. Around two thousand people have lost their jobs, and hundreds of people were jailed or are now facing trials in military court for their participation at the recent pro-democracy protests.

تعرضت آلاف العائلات البحرينية للكثير من الانتهاكات من جراء الأحداث الأخيرة في البلاد، فقد فقد أكثر من ألفي شخص أعمالهم، فيما خلفت الأحداث مئات الجرحى والمعتقلين أو المتهمين الذين يواجهون تهماً أمام محاكم عسكرية حالياً. تعاني آلاف العائلات البحرينية حالياً من الحاجة المادية جراء فقدها لمعيلها الرئيسي.
