HLPF on Sustainable Development: Leave No One Behind

The SILENCE has been broken! The United Nations Ministerial Declaration on Sustainable Development at the 2017 High Level Political Forum (HLPF) is very close to being finalized however, there are some elements which are still unresolved. Certain countries have announced that a Ministerial Declaration will not pass next week if it includes strong mentions of climate change, gender issues and foreign occupation. Each of you can relate to at least one of these issues, and that is why they need to be included in the Declaration.

Canada, Russia, the U.S., Israel, Turkey, and Egypt are the delegations that are planning to block the Declaration if the language is not mitigated. You can reach out to delegations here. In the spirit of the 2030 Agenda and the HLPF “no one should be left behind,” let your voices be heard!
